FAQs

I have a tight deadline. Can you help?

Absolutely! Contact me as soon as possible and we can discuss your project.

What software/programs do you use?

While I primarily use Adobe (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) for design work, I also use Microsoft Suite when I develop business materials and presentations for clients. I am happy to work with both Adobe and Microsoft to meet your design and business needs.

What do you charge for your services?

My base rate is $70/hour with a 1 hour minimum. We can discuss flat rates for larger projects.

Where are your clients located?

While I am based in Ridgefield, Connecticut, in the United States, I have some pretty far-flung clients. I have worked with customers in various parts of Fairfield County, New York, Missouri, Canada and Germany.

Do we need to meet in person?

While it is always nice to meet in person, remote collaboration certainly works. We can email back and forth, meet via zoom, and I can send drafts to you electronically for approval.

Do you get the work printed, or can I?

While I don’t print in-house, I do have a dependable local printer I like to use. Their work is well-priced and the quality exceptional. If you chose for me to handle the printing of your project, I would be pleased to send you printing quotes for your approval. If you prefer to handle the printing yourself, I will send press-quality files to you or the printer of your choice.

How does your design process work?

My process is one of collaboration. I like to meet with the client to discuss their wishes – do they have a style in mind, favorite colors, prefer photography or illustration, and so on. Once that is established, it is time for me to hit the studio and brainstorm. Several ideas are sketched out and the best of the bunch are forwarded to the client for them to choose from. After a selection has been made, the design is fine-tuned and produced. This version will be sent to the client for any last changes and final approval. Once the design is approved, it will either be sent to the client in a final format or printed and delivered as per the customer’s request.
